QAI Labs Ltd. is a Delaware corporation headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, with an Asia-Pacific origination footprint. We hire for technical depth and editorial taste. Open roles below; expression-of-interest welcome for Phase 2 roles.
QAI Labs is building NOVA-3, a computer-aided design platform for multi-specific antibodies — at the layer where molecular design decisions are made, not downstream of them. We are early-stage and intentional about it: the team is small, the problems are real, and the design choices you make now will be in the platform for years. If you want to work somewhere that takes scientific honesty and engineering craft seriously from the start, this is that company.
Own significant surface area across NOVA-Dashboard, the platform API, and the Module Library backend. We are looking for someone who has shipped production systems in Python (FastAPI, async, typed) and TypeScript (React, the kind of frontend that does not embarrass us), and who reads SQL fluently. You will work directly with the founders and the platform leads.
Sit between the generator stack (Boltz-2, Chai-1, RFdiffusion) and the three NOVA-3 program-specific heads (ranking, structural confidence, in-silico Kd). You should be comfortable with PyTorch, with reading recent antibody and protein design literature, and with the engineering reality of running benchmarks that other people will reproduce. Structural biology background or strong ML-for-biology track record required.
Requirements:
Will own regulatory strategy across our internal programs as they move toward IND-readiness, including FDA and EMA interaction planning and CMC documentation strategy. Open at Phase 2; expressions of interest welcome now and will be held on file with priority review when the role activates.
Will run the wet-lab side of the data flywheel — partner-lab coordination, assay QC, sample logistics, and the data-back-into-platform pipeline that feeds NOVA-Evidence. Open at Phase 2; expressions of interest welcome now from candidates with biotech operations experience and a tolerance for spreadsheets.
We are a small, early-stage team. Every hire shapes the company. We don't have a big HR department — if you're right, we'll know quickly.
